Garmin Rally XC100 MTB Power Meter Pedals

Introducing the brand-new Garmin Rally XC100 MTB Power Meter Pedals! Designed specifically for off-road riders, the Rally XC power meter pedals feature Shimano SPD cleat compatibility. This means you can finally have pedal-based power on your XC, gravel or cyclocross bike!

The Rally XC100 measures left-leg power and cadence and is accurate to +/- 1.0%. When it comes in installation, things have never been easier. Just grab an Allen key and screw them on. This also means they are easy to move from bike to bike.

The Garmin Rally XC100 Power Meter Pedals also feature a first-of-its-kind transferable spindle system. With the purchase of a Rally pedal body conversion kit, you can move the power meter spindle from one pedal body to another. This includes options for Rally RK (LOOK KEO road) or Rally RS (Shimano Road). This means one power meter for all your bikes!

Key Product Details

Compatibility:

This power meter is compatible with any bike and uses 2-bolt SPD cleats. While most use it for MTB, gravel or cyclocross, they can also be used on a road or indoor bike. See Compatibility tab for more information.

Power Measurement:

This Garmin power meter has a power sensor in the left pedal and measures left leg power and doubles the value to account for both legs (assumes both legs are generating the same force).

Transferable Spindle Design

The Garmin Rally XC100 Power Meter Pedals feature a first-of-its-kind transferable spindle system. This allows you to quickly and easily transfer the power meter spindle into a Rally RK (LOOK KEO road) or Rally RS (Shimano Road) Pedal Conversion Kit (kits sold separately). This means one power meter for all your needs!

Key Features:

Compatible with any bike, easy to install, accurate to within +/- 1.0%, up to 120 hours of battery life, LR44/SR44 user-replaceable battery, ANT+ and Bluetooth compatible, 2-year warranty. See Specs tab for more information.

Advice From Our Staff:

This is one of our best-selling MTB power meters. It’s compatible with any bike, installs easily and customer feedback regarding accuracy and reliability have been good. Please note, it’s a bit on the large size for an MTB pedal, but it was specifically designed to be durable and withstand the abuse of off-road riding.

Other Versions to Consider

Dual-Sided XC200: We also sell the Garmin Rally XC200 MTB Power Meter Pedals which has a power sensor in both pedals. It is more expensive, however it measures power from both of your legs.

Compatibility

Bike: The Garmin Rally XC power meter pedal is compatible with any bike. While most customers use it for MTB, gravel or cyclocross, they can also be used on a road or indoor bike.

Cleats: The Garmin XC pedals are compatible with Shimano SPD cleats.

Installed on my Trek Checkpoint. Pretty easy. Paired flawlessly with a Garmin 530. No real issues. Seem pretty similar readings that I would normally see on crank arm power meter I have. Can’t wait for warmer weather and more consistent riding to see what they can do. I do like that I can move them from bike to bike depending on what style of riding I’m doing.

Good to hear that! Good luck on your future rides! We are here if there is anything else we can help you with!

I installed these on my gravel bike and my mountain bike. You must calibrate before each ride. I calibrate through the Garmin Connect ap. On a mountain bike ride, I had a pedal strike (PM side) with a root. This knocked off the calibration. My power numbers were reading from 0-25W. I didn’t notice it until 45 minutes later when I looked down onto my head unit. I stopped and recalibrated. I also notice on days where it’s really chilly in the morning, and then warms up quickly, I feel the power meter reads a little high. So far, I do not trust the accuracy, comparing with 2 other bikes I have with PM.

Hi E. Thanks for the review on your Garmin Rally XC pedals. Just so you know, it’s standard practice to calibrate your power meter before your ride. Fortunately, it only takes about 15 seconds on your bike computer. Also, it’s understandable that a strong enough blow to the pedal required a re-calibration. Fortunately, these pedals are very robust and are made to take a beating and the feedback has been very good on them. Please let us know if you have any other questions we can help you with!

Very happy with my Garmin pedals but mostly because of the service PMC gave me, I will come here again for sure! thank you!

Got the power meter real fast, four days from California to TLV Israel, using it on my XC bike for a few weeks and the numbers looks on spot compering to my trainer and road bike power meters , installation super easy, the feel of the Garmin SPD pedal is just like any XT/XTR pedal I used in the past, so far all good.

    • Power Meter City

Great job Oded! These pedals are really great! We hope you will continue to enjoy your new Garmin pedals and if there is anything else we can do to help, please let us know! Ride safe!

  5. Rene deDon (verified owner)

I’d give 4 stars for the price but that is on Garmin, not PMC, so 5 stars it is! Fast shipping with no issues, much like every product I have got from PMC. For those that may be wondering, yes, this does work with a WAHOO BOLT and all you need is a pedal wrench to install. Data seemed a bit high the first few rides but has since settled down after installing Garmin Connect app and using that to calibrate instead of the head unit. Very happy with the purchase otherwise!

    • Power Meter City

Hi Rene. Thank you so much – we really appreciate this. We hope you will continue to enjoy your pedals. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do!

  6. Tate Stuntz (verified owner)

Pedals work great so far. No issues at all. Calibration through my Garmin 530 takes 5 seconds. The finish/polish on these pedals is amazing. I was almost ashamed to put them on my gravel bike. They are a little heavier than I thought, so if you’re a weight weenie check the specs first. They are pricy compared to a crank arm type meter, but being able to move the pedals easily (literally 2 minutes) between bikes is a game changer.

    • Power Meter City

Looks like you are enjoying your new pedals, Tate! Thank you for this kind review on your Garmin Rally XC100 MTB Power Meter Pedals. If there is anything else we can do, please let us know!

  7. David Dailey (verified owner)

I’m a long-time power meter user. SRM on a road bike. I’ve been waiting on a MTB solution so I could compare the overall wattage of a road effort to the peaks and overall wattage of XC riding. $699 is a pretty good price to jump in.
The pedals seem to be working well. You do have to let your bike acclimate to the air temp then calibrate before each ride or you are likely to get pretty wild results. I didn’t do this my first ride and broke all kinds of records!
Anyway, over all I’m pretty happy with the pedals. I will say I am a bit happier with Power Meter Cities product availability, ship time, and customer service.
    Thanks,

    • Power Meter City

Thanks for this David. Glad you are enjoying your new Garmin pedals – which is amazing! We are here if there is anything else we can do to help! Ride safe!

Just set my bike up with these new pedals with left side power meter. Wow, insane having access to all this extra data. Set a PR on the first day I used them. What a blast!
