Verve InfoCrank M30 Power Meter on table

Good news power meter fans, the Verve Infocrank is now cheaper than ever (Tom Ballard/Immediate Media)

The Verve InfoCrank has now been available to the market for a year and in that time, Verve Cycling has directly distributed the device to affiliates, coaches and dealers in North America, Australia, Europe, South Africa, Asia and the United Kingdom.

However, with UK distributors Moore Large being appointed and distributors expected to be appointed in other countries and regions, Verve is now able to focus again on innovation, design and manufacturing, reducing our overall cost structure from the early days.

Recently, Verve Cycling acquired our technology partner, Breakaway Innovations, in order to achieve cost savings and streamline innovation of the InfoCrank.

It is with great pleasure that Verve will pass these cost savings onto our future customers in time for the holiday season.

InfoCrank, as in the past, is supplied as a packaged bundle with high quality crankset components. Customers have the following options:

  • Crank lengths from 170 – 175mm (Note: 155mm – 165mm are in production and due to hit stores in 2016)
  • Praxis Works Chainring sets (Compact 50/34, Mid-Compact 52/36)
  • Praxis Works Bottom Brackets, purpose built for the 30mm spindle (BB30, PressFit 30, OSBB for Specialized, BB86 Pressfit, English Threaded)
  • Full accessories kits, with magnet options, batteries and ANT+ USB
  • Introductory subscriptions to leading analysis and data recording programs

With the bottom bracket and chainring options mentioned above, InfoCrank fits most bike frames. Our target for 2016 is for InfoCrank to fit all bike frames. With new 24mm spindles and larger 130BCD spiders, along with an increased range of crank lengths, InfoCrank will soon be available for all road cyclists and triathletes on all standard and non-standard frames.

Effective from today, the new pricing means a saving of £261/US$351/€199/AU$249 on the previous retail price of an Infocrank system. Retail prices are now as follows: £1,149/US$1,399/€1,599/AU$1,949.
